If you’re new here…

Hey there! As an aspiring hostess with the mostess, I wanted to be prepared for your visit to my blog today. Since there is no telling what I’ll be blogging about on any given day, let’s just call this your “safe room.” To prepare for your visit, I did what we girls do when we know someone new is coming over.

Straightened up, put fresh flowers in the table (metaphorically speaking!) and baked cookies. (Those are not metaphorical. A girl needs to eat.)

So I hope you feel right at home.

I’m new to the blogging business, but as you get to know me you’ll see that I find myself in some interesting, and typicallly comical, predicaments. As if my Kindergarten tales weren’t enough, I’m also married to a man whose middle name might as well be “ham” or “silly” or “has an unquenchable thirst to put on a show.” (I guess that last one would be a little long though huh?)   Add to that our new adventures as “Puppy Parents” and you can see why I might need therapy *ahem* I mean, to blog,  in order to process all this craziness.

My philosophy for blogging has developed into nothing short if the way I run my kindergarten classroom, which is ‘If I can wiggle them, giggle them, or gross them out, then I’ve got their attention. So I hope you experience a few eyebrow wiggles, a couple of giggle snorts,
and that you forgive me when I gross you out.

What I want you to get out of my blog is that I am full of love for the people in  my life and circumstances I find myself in…that’s why through it all I will LOVE ON, and I hope you will be encouraged to do the same.

Oh yes, and for those of you English majors or grammar fanatics, I’m going to go ahead and make a disclaimer here. I tend to write with a lot of verbage, a lot of …., and a lot of run-ons. It is what it is, don’t try to change me. 🙂
