Laborin’ on Labor Day

So happy for a day off.

Is that bad?

School just started and I’m already happy for a day off?

Now that we’ve got that first week under our belt, I could SERIOUSLY use a week to get everything ready for the rest of the six weeks. So much goes into getting the room ready, then getting ready for “Meet the Teacher,” that it’s pretty much a day by day thing to get everything prepped and ready for the first week.

And so now I’m scramblin’ trying to get everything together for this new week.

All will settle in and I’ll find my groove…but for now I just feel like I’m treading water.

In other news, I’ve got big plans today to go grocery shopping & clean this neglected house. Don’t worry, I’ve got plans for the hubby too…all this rain has caused our yard to become a small jungle habitat. Since I kinda *don’t* want to lose the dog in all that growth, he’s going to have to do something about that.

Oh yes, and if I don’t finish week 5 of my 5k app and tackle that 20 minute run, I may never get going again. Must. go. run.
