Weekend Recommendations…

Is anyone else ready for the weekend? Thought you might be…and I wanted to give you a jumpstart by giving you my weekend recommendations!

Movies to Redbox:

*Courageous: Made by the same church who did “Facing the Giants” and “Fireproof” (which are also awesome movies to watch, if you’ve never seen them before!). This movie is about what it means to be the parent God calls you to be. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll be surprised…the best movie they’ve done yet. I loved it! http://www.courageousthemovie.com/

*Dolphin Tale: Just a good clean, feel good movie. Based on a true story, this one will stir up all those warm fuzzies…especially if you are an animal lover! The website is pretty cool too, if you wanna know the real story. http://seewinter.com/

Book to Read:

*Basic Assumptions: This one was actually written by a missionary who is currently living in MW. Super cool right? It’s an easy read, Christian romance novel. Perfect for a rainy day, bubble bath, or for downloading to your kindle to enjoy throughout the day. Check it out at http://www.amazon.com/Basic-Assumptions-Lu-Cole/dp/1619044234/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1327535502&sr=8-1

Food to Try:

*Knock-off PF Changs Lettuce Wraps: If you can’t make it to the real PF this weekend, give this recipe a try! Promised to be yummy! http://iowagirleats.com/2011/04/26/p-f-changs-lettuce-wraps-remade/

This weekend my family will be coming in to shop and celebrate my birthday, then next week my in-laws will be in town for a week or so. Got a lot coming up! 😉
